Ready to Blast Off? The Coastal Connection Community would like to invite you to the 3rd annual Leader Launch. This year's Launch promises to be bigger and better than last year. We have a bigger venue and more classes.
Offered by your community - Coastal Connection - the Leader Launch is perfect for new and experienced leaders alike! As an exhibition style event, you can browse, learn and explore at your own pace. Learn new things that can help you and the girls you mentor get the most out of your Girl Scout Experience, meet special guests from Council, shop at the Council Traveling Trunk store, and just have a blast socializing with other area volunteers! You can also choose from an assortment of basic and enrichment classes offered during the exhibit and after the lunch break. The event is FREE this year (with the exception of any classes that require a class fee)! For new leaders (or experienced Leaders who have completed basic training before 2010 and need a refresher), following the Leader Launch event, you will have the opportunity to complete two of your required volunteer classes. Both the SU Orientation and Girl Scout Program Basics courses are being offered. Make it easy and get everything done in one day! Usually there is a fee to take volunteer classes - but not if you take it following the Leader Launch! Already have your basic training? Consider taking one of the available enrichment classes. Please make sure to add this additional option to your registration and take advantage of some extra cost savings. |

Leader Launch 2015 - Basic Exhibitor Information (for Service Unit Teams & Vendors)
The first two hours of the 3rd annual Leader Launch will be exhibition style with booths with information on various Girl Scout topics.
Who is providing this information and these displays? Our community Service Units! Each Service Unit is being asked to provide at least one (they are always welcome to present more than one) topic. Each Service Unit may select the topic they are interested in presenting. Can't think of any topics? What about some of these to spark some ideas:

This is only a list of possible suggestions. Service Units do not have to select from only this list of items. We hope that Service Units will think about topics that interest them or things that are "best practices" for their members. We are asking all Service Units to register to ensure that we have a variety of topics and that each booth has the materials they need.
Service Units are asked to be creative with your displays! Most of us are used to project board displays, but you are welcome to expand to more unique displays to grab the attention of our volunteers. All costs associated with Service Unit booths/displays must be paid for by each Service Unit, including copies.
